Training Practice
We are proud to be a well-established training practice, helping qualified doctors complete the final stages of their GP Training.
These doctors are with us for a period of 6 to 18 months to gain broad experience of general practice.
We also have Foundation Year 2 doctors joining us for four month periods in order to gain an insight into general practice. They have usually not yet chosen the field of medicine in which they would like to specialise.
Recording Consultations
It is an essential part of the training process to record consultations for discussion with the training doctor. This is done with the patient's written consent during dedicated video surgeries.
We would like to reassure patients that all aspects of general practice, including training, are governed by rules of strict confidentiality.
The training GP Partners are: Dr Susan Frost and Dr David Cowling.
