The dispensary is fully computerised.
If you are taking medication regularly you will be given a computer printout which enables you to get a specific number of repeat prescriptions without seeing a doctor.
You should telephone 01539 722660 and choose Option 2 to request your medication, leaving a message on the answer-machine and giving accurate and concise details.
Alternatively, you may post or hand in your request to the dispensary. If you enclose a stamped, addressed envelope we will post the prescription to you.
It takes 48 hours to process a repeat prescription. this does not include weekends and bank holidays.
Patients taking repeat medication who have not been seen in the last 12 months may be asked to make an appointment with their doctor or nurse for a medication review of their treatment.
In the near future patients will be able to order repeat prescriptions online, avoiding the need to leave messages on the dispensary answer machine.
Please make enquiries about this new service if you would like to participate.

From 1 April 2019, the charges are:
If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months, or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC.
There is further information about prescription exemptions and fees on the NHS website
