Station House Surgery Closure Dates

The Surgery (including Dispensary) will be closed for mandatory training from 1pm on:

Thursday 19th November 2020

Thursday 21st January 2021

The practice will re-open as normal at 8.00am the following day

Please check you have sufficient medication supplied whilst we are closed

If you have Coronavirus symptoms or are living with someone who has, you are advised to self isolate for 7 or 14 days respectively. Please visit to obtain an isolation notice for your employer. You do not need to contact the practice.




Policies & Procedures


  • This practice is committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment and strives to achieve good practice at all times.

  • All patients are entitled to have a chaperone present during any consultation, examination or procedure. Clinicians at this practice will advise patients that a chaperone is necessary during any intimate examination. This is to safeguard both the clinician and you, the patient.

  • Where a chaperone is not available, the clinician will ask you to make another appointment so that a chaperone can be arranged.

  • We will use clinical staff as chaperones who will have had appropriate training and have knowledge of the examination or procedure you may be undergoing.

  • Family and friends are not permitted to act as chaperones as they do not have the necessary experience and skills and are not deemed as impartial.
