ADVANCED CLINICAL / NURSE PRACTITIONER
37.5 hours per week (NEGOTIABLE)
(WILLING TO CONSIDER 2 X PART-TIME POSTS)
Salary dependent on experience
We are looking for an experienced and qualified advanced healthcare professional to help us meet our acute clinical workload and provide a high level of care to our patients. Ideally you will be an independent prescriber with sound knowledge of acute illness and chronic disease management.
The successful candidate will have experience of delivering a telephone triage service, directing care appropriately and managing minor illness either independently or with support from other members of the Team. The successful candidate will also carry out home visits and will need a willingness to travel and be able to drive and have access to a car.
We would like a minimum of three years of post-registration experience (two of which are ideally working in a primary or urgent care environment) and also hold a degree, preferably an MsC in advanced practice or equivalent.
In return you would be joining a friendly, hardworking and committed team who continually strive to improve services to patients. We encourage and support development or continuation of additional skills and of course will provide a comprehensive induction and training package.
The role is full-time but let us know if you are looking for something different as we are flexible in our approach and would be willing to consider other options.
We would like to hear from you but if you would like to explore this opportunity before you make up your mind please get in touch and we will arrange for you to come and see us in action and have an informal chat.
